Make Bedtime Better
Did you know the average person spends about 26 YEARS of their life sleeping?
With so much time invested, don't you think that you deserve something nice to wrap up in?
Our buttery smooth Bamboo Lyocell Bedding is more than just incredibly soft.
Why Bamboo Sheets?
Our Bamboo Lyocell Sheets compare to high thread count Egyptian Cotton and Silk. They are buttery-soft and incredibly comfortable but don't have the negative environmental effects that come with most fabrics.
Bamboo is strong and durable, so you can count on these holding up for a while; which is what you want with something you use everyday. Backed by our 365 day Love it or return it guarantee - we believe in the quality of our products.
Kick back, relax and feel good about your purchase! Bamboo requires 1/3 of the amount of water to grow that cotton needs and bamboo produces 35% more oxygen than the average tree! Bamboo fields are sometimes even referred to as carbon sinks for their ability to sequester such large amounts from the atmosphere so quickly and lock it away.
Bamboo is also naturally anti bacterial and anti fungal, so there is no need for the use of pesticides when growing. This helps keep the local groundwater clean.
Bamboo farming creates a positive environmental culture and because bamboo can be grown almost anywhere, it can offer a reliable and sustainable source of income to farmers who find themselves living in harsher conditions.
A sustainable, high quality choice.
Plus, don't you want to slip into a nice clean and cozy bed every night?
The Lyocell Difference
Bamboo is an incredibly versatile plant that realeases a serious amount oxygen into the air as it grows. It requires less water to be produced when compared to other standard materials, grows extremely fast, can grow almost anywhere and doesn't require the use of pesticides. However,
Not all bamboo fabrics are created equally
Most bamboo fabrics are bamboo from viscose or rayon - a cheap and chemically intensive way to create fabric from Bamboo.
Bamboo viscose or rayon requires large amounts of sodium hydroxide and carbon disulfide to be used, extremely corrosive and neurotoxic chemicals that damages the health of workers, the health of the planet and can irritate people with sensitive skin.
Our Lyocell process uses an organic amine oxide in its place. With this technique, 99% of the organic solvent and water used is recovered and reused within the next batch of the manufacturing process, thereby significantly reducing waste and water consumption.
Low impact and high quality should be the standard.
Forget nasty chemicals and lets start using sustainable practises for our everyday needs.
